Elio Bloy
Born in 1987
After realising by chance that his grandmother's mother tongue was Yiddish (but she completely forgot it), a door to a new world revealed itself and he started exploring the hidden Yiddishland. Currently Elio is living in NYC, studying Yiddish, and dreaming of new doors tucked away from our attention.

Generation J is an incredible one-of-a-kind inclusive empowerment incubator summer camp for young artists, revolving creations and questions around identity, community, Yiddish, borders, margins, and everything in between.
I am a proud part of the founding faculty of the project :)

I broke my right hand arm in the middle of the making and had to finish with my left hand!
